Well here’s a few more pictures for my faithful readers, all 3 of you:)
My poor left out dog Cobi deserves a little recognition for putting up with all these attention-hogging babies. She has even reinvented herself as a trick-performing dog in an attempt to regain her pre-triplets status- she initiated a game of fetch, something she’s never done- and she’s 12.
Normally if you throw a ball for her to run after she will look at you like you are an idiot; yesterday she actually came up to me while I was playing with the babies, dropped her favorite ball (favorite meaning she pokes it with her nose occasionally) and looked at me. I threw it. She brought it back. I threw it again. She brought it back again. It was strange and sad to see her lower herself to being a fetcher after all these years of being a fetch-snob. But, I have resolved to make a better effort to take her for her daily walks around the neighborhood, just me and her when Todd gets home.
Ahhh the GOMOTT sale. What a wonderful thing. I left this morning bright and early so I could get there for the “early access” granted the GOMOTT members. The general public got in at 8, but lucky me got in there at 7.. It was everything I had hoped for. 35 Moms of multiples had their clothes, cribs, toys, strollers, and every other baby item imaginable for sale. I had to go to my car 4 times to unload- eveything was so cheap! The poor general public moms waiting in line outside thought there was going to be nothing left when they got inside when they saw me toting all this stuff past them to the car. But, there was plenty more. I just got the best stuff:)I arranged it all on the ping pong table in the garage when I got home so I could analyze what needs to go where.. a few things, they aren’t ready for yet, like the police motorcycle rocker and the little scooters. But anyway- the babies did great with their wonderful babysitters, and it was nice to get out all by myself. Although, seeing all the moms at the sale with their babies made me want to go home and see mine. Anyway- Todd sold a car today, and is on his way home, so it was a good day all around.
And the other awesome thing is, my mom and dad will be here tomorrow. I can’t wait to see them and I know they can’t wait to see the kiddos.
