Well, it was a fun day yesterday at the Florida Aquarium. Todd and I had never been there so we really enjoyed it. We left right after they had lunch, so they took a little nap in the car, and it took us about an hour to get there. The babies got robbed of a little naptime so they were a little sleepy there but they definitely liked seeing the fish, ducks, sharks, otters, etc. It was nice to have a “family” day. I think the last time we did something, just the 5 of us (besides our doctors appointment) was in May.
And *big news* we let them try their first taste of ice cream. Todd got some Dippin Dots there and we let them try it.. ohh their faces were priceless. I got that on video but not on the regular camera.
It seems we are falling into a nice new schedule now.. the babies wake up at 6, have a bottle and solids, play till 8, then nap till 9:30-10ish, wake up and have a snack (juice/water and some finger food) around 10, play for a while then have lunch (solids then bottle) at 11:30, play a little more then nap from 1-3. Then when they wake up, they are up for the day.. They have solids at 5:30, then a bath, bottle and bed at 7:00. Its pretty nice. I have time to clean and organize, and update my blog:)
Gustav update: it doesn’t look to be coming our way as of now, they are predicting it to go across the gulf, more westward. Good for us, very bad for the other gulf coast states.
