I can see that you are leaving us, and I want to say how much I’m going to miss you. I know I should be grateful that you stayed as long as you have, but it’s still hard to say goodbye. On the other hand, I am excited to meet your friend, Earlier Bedtime. It will be a little adjustment but I think its for the best. If you ever want to come back and visit, you are always welcome, no matter how old the kids are.
The Lyons Family
soooo.. guess who has been asleep since 7:15? yes, all 3 babies. I’ve known for a while that their schedule was about to change but I was really resistent to eliminate nap #3. I figured, if they are going down without a problem then they must need it. But we had some company today, and time just sort of flew by, and before I knew it, it was an hour past their naptime and they weren’t really melting down. So I figured, lets skip the nap, have dinner early, and see what happens. Well, Cameron sucked his bottle down in 5 minutes and promptly passed out in the high chair, Ben and Lily took a little longer but were done by 7, so I got them all jammied up and in bed by 7:15. Wow. This is a big change in my system, but I guess thats how it works.. as soon as you get something perfected and are used to it, its going to change.
These are our friends that came to visit us today: MB, Maddie, Emma and baby Bryce! MB and I went to high school and played soccer together in NY and ended up living 25 minutes away from each other! We had such a nice time hanging out today. I definitely need to have more grown-up interaction. Its nice.
