We went out today to walk around Downtown Disney, and since I had my parents with me, felt brave enough to take the babies into a restaurant- the new “T-Rex”. Actually, it may not be that new but I haven’t gotten out in a while:) It was great!! Absolutely the perfect place to take three babies out to eat- it was loud in there, so the kids ould make as much noise as they wanted and not bother anybody, the food was good (ok maybe a little overpriced, like all of Disney) they had nice highchairs, and there actually wasn’t a long wait. The inside of the restaurant is Dinosaur themed- with big animatronic dinousaurs, woolly mammoths, etc that come to life every 15 minutes or so, along with lights, and sounds, which totally captivated the kids. Finally, something went just right for us. It was a really nice day.
Of course, I can’t stop trying to get pictures of my kiddos, so while we were down there I stopped in the candy store to get some big lollipops- I saw another blogger who got some very cute pictures of her babies in front of the tree, and the lollipops were so captivating that they stayed in one place long enough to get some shots.. that didn’t exactly pan out for me, as you can see.. I’m starting to lose hope now!
I stuck in a picture of our new tent! I put it in their play area and they love chasing each other in and out of it..
Lily is officially a walker! She can walk almost all the way across a room without stumbling, as long as nothing is in her path:) Its so weird to see my little munchkin walking. What happened to my tiny little babies!? Ben is right behind, he can do about 7 steps.. and Cameron, he’s content to crawl still:) That’s ok with me!
Lily is so enamored with the Christmas tree, several times a day she walks over and has a little conversation with it. She waves her arms and squeals, and bounces, and does her best not to touch it. She knows she isn’t supposed to, but sometimes that chubby little hand just finds itself around a branch: she jerks it back when she realizes it, and looks at me like, “oops!” She’s also developed a strange little demon-like voice, that is very strange to hear coming out of her. One minute, it’s sweet little squeals, and the next she’s like a mini-Linda Blair speaking in toungues. That’s normal, right?
On the Cameron subject, the little bugger has 8 teeth now! His bottom ones have been bothering him lately, so he’s been a little grouchy, but mostly he’s his sweet little self. Ever since he got sick about a month ago, he’s been even sweeter than normal, and likes to rest his head on your shoulder when you carry him. I love it.
He “talks” so much, all day long he says something that sounds like “Anya” over and over again. So cute.
And Ben.. all I can say is the kid cracks me up. He’ll cry like his heart is completely broken, and when you pick him him he instantly starts smiling, as if nothing was ever wrong. And looking back, smugly, at the other babies. He absolutely loves to be upside down.. as you can see in the picture.
All in all, they are doing great. They are growing like weeds, and keeping us all very busy! We are working on getting a nice big playset for the backyard for them sometime in the near future, so that should be exciting!
