I have no idea why, but they tell you to write your name on the ground in chalk as you wait for the ferry boat in front of Magic Kingdom. I got kind of sweaty doing this.
I also have no idea why I bought a stroller without shoulder straps. Cameron didn’t seem to mind the wiggle room though.
Cameron wasn’t so sure about those guys jumping around in tights in front of Cinderella’s castle. Peter Pan, especially, was a little suspect.
After we got home the kids were very interested in watching daddy do yard work. Don’t ask me why he has on dress shoes.
I had an awesome day today.. Todd was off of work and I took Cameron (and only Cameron) to the Magic Kingdom with our friends. I have been wanting to spend more individual time with each baby and this was pretty much the first time I’ve gotten to do that. It was so awesome to be able to devote all my attention to one baby. We even got to go on Its a Small World! Cameron just didn’t know what to think, he just looked all around and took it all in.
I also got a new perspective on the whole stranger-comment situation by just having one baby, but being with a set of twins and triplets. It was really nice not having fingers pointed at us all day, but I did feel like I was “cheating” a little. Mostly because April and Amanda called me a cheater:) (its ok, I deserved it) Just having a light little single stroller, one baby to feed, and being able to pick him up whenever I wanted was a luxury I am not used to, but really appreciated. I will say that Cameron did not seem to miss his siblings either- he was quite content to be in his own little buggy. Tomorrow we will be back in full triplet form, we’re going to the Animal Kingdom with the crew.
Another update on Cameron- he’s taking more and more steps! He’s up to 5-6 now at a time on his own, but he loves walking around holding your hands. Ben and Lily are getting braver and braver, and faster and faster at walking.
Lily is also getting pretty good at throwing you the beach ball, and Ben is still perfecting his uh-oh.. its getting pretty good. Lily also says “ball” (sometimes).
