So, we’re going for our daily walk today, and as I pass this home, I see someone stick their head head out the door, waving at me. She’s looks a little distressed, so I stop to see what she says..
“Excuse me, there’s a snake in front of my front door- can you scare it away for me? I’m afraid of snakes!”
Ummm… what? When you see a woman pushing a triple stroller down the road.. what makes you think that’s a good candidate for your personal reptile control?
I admit, there was a time in my life where snakes didn’t freak me out, in college. I was a different person then, and now, I really don’t want anything to do with them. Especially when I am walking down the road with my babies. I mean, most likely it was a harmless black snake. But, maybe not. I told her I wasn’t really about to chase her snake away, but I would let her neighbor know, who was standing outside painting his garage door. He was happy to help and I was on my way.. wondering if that interaction had really just occurred, or if I hallucinated it.
Here are a few extremely unprofessional shots from the last day or so.
