Trouble with a capital B(en). Last week, he figured out how to climb up on the couch. A few days ago, it was the coffee table. Yesterday, he figured out how to get out of the playzone. And what he does, the other two do within a week usually.
Yesterday I was playing with the kids in the playzone out back, and I got up to take some laundry out of the dryer, put another load in etc.. and I feel this little hand on the back of my leg- and there he is just smiling away. I was shocked! I put him back immediately, then hid around the corner so I could see if he could do it again, and sure enough, he was out again a minute later. There are little spots on parts of the playzone that can be used at footholds, and then if they can get the other leg up and over- that’s it. I’m so bummed about this. I made sure to never let them see us open the gates, so they wouldn’t try to figure out how to open them themselves. But, alas, they have found a way around that.
I think they will stay in there if I am with them, but I guess there’s no more stepping out for a minute anymore!
We did make it to Animal Kingdom yesterday, after the rain subsided in the morning. Which made it similar to walking around in a tropical rain forest, super humid. We took some more pictures for Stellan’s name gallery– can you find them? There are two that we took that made it in, one on the back of a little bike/cart, and one with one of the students in Asia. I also saw one that looks just like the one of Ben from the other day- same letters, different baby! I had to do a double take:)
We have some friends coming over to visit that we haven’t seen in a while, which is nice! I should probably go straighten up a little!
By the way- today’s giveaway on the Multiples and More Blog Network are some really nice cloth diapers, and cloth diaper detergent! We are also running the giveaway for a hand-stamped mommy necklace through the weekend, so go check it out and enter if you haven’t already!
