I have told many times lately what a great mother I am, and I’m not gonna lie- I kind of like hearing that. I don’t always feel like that’s the truth, but it’s always a nice thing to hear. The truth is, I can’t take any credit for being a good mom, because I learned it all from my own. I just want to say thank you, Mom, for being the most selfless, caring, supportive mom I could ever ask for. I wish I could have been with you yesterday to give you a big hug and tell you that in person!
Well, it was a pretty great Mother’s Day. The planets all aligned, and Todd actually had the day off… so I got to sleep in, go get my nails done AND my eyebrows waxed..(I didn’t realized how badly I needed it until I saw the “after”. I’m almost a little mad at my friends for not speaking up:), and we took a little trip to Mt. Dora as a family. Mt. Dora is a quaint little lakeside village with lots of antique shops, little restaurants, etc. It will be a nice place to go for a walk when it is not 98 degrees outside! It was a little hot today for such an outing, but it was still nice to see a new area and be with the family nonetheless. I can’t believe it’s only May and already this hot. I need to work on coming up with some indoor activities for when the “summer” comes. Anyway, I had a great Mother’s Day, and I hope you all did too! Here’s a few pictures from the last couple days, since I forgot my camera today!
