Through the miracle of craigslist, I was able to procure a couple crib tents today for 50 dollars.. (they are normally about 70 each). When I got up to get the kids this morning, Ben was once again in Lily’s crib. I think he is climbing over the side of his, and up over the end of hers. I have pointed the camera in their room at his crib so I could try to catch him in the act, but the camera is starting to fail and blinks in and out. Bummer- I guess we should have gotten that extended warranty:(
Anyway- I got Ben’s tent up and running, but ironically Lily’s sort of broke when I got it home, it just needed a little patch job so I’ll put that up tomorrow. The nice thing about the crib tent is that they can’t throw their pacifiers and blankets on the ground with these things on there- or grab the vertical blinds, or the clothes off the changing table. These tents might be extremely helpful after all. It’s not quite the look I was going for in their room.. but as long as they are all in their own cribs and not bouncing from crib to crib, that’s what’s important:) And as you can see, Ben isn’t the biggest fan of his new incarceration device, but I think he’ll get used to it. He’s asleep in it now, so we are making progress!
