Just a boring day at home today. We played for a while in the backyard, ran wild in the house a little, had dinner, bath, books, and bed! I just realized it was the 13th- the kids are 19 months old! I can’t believe it. My little nuggets are getting so big. Lily knows about 16 words now! I took the time to sit down tonight and write them down, because it seems like she is saying new things every single day. Her latest few words are “up” to get picked up, “eat” (which she sign and says simultaneously) and “Pop”. We were talking to my dad on Skype tonight and she actually called him “Pop”.
The boys were doing something they shouldn’t have been tonight, and she looked at them, gave them the serious face and said “no-no-no-no”.. a really good impression of me, but much much cuter!
Ben and Cameron are both at about 5-6 words each.. I have no doubt they will catch up to their sister when they are ready. They all love to sign “eat” and “more” at meal times. If I am too slow, they will sign it very emphatically. It’s just so.. you know.. CUTE!
A few photos from our day:
Ben’s shoes kept falling off, and he really didn’t like that. He was really mad that his feet were getting all dirty. He was scowling at his dirty foot and then sticking it up at me like, “Look! Dirty!”
