A few days ago, Todd mentioned something to me about having cows in our yard last week. I have to admit I sort of put it in the ‘disregard’ file with some of the other things he has told me:)… until our neighbor actually came over and gave me this picture today:
Holy Cow!! Really, we don’t live in the middle of farmland. But apparently, we must not be that far away. I’ve never seen cows in or close to our neighborhood, and I’m not really sure where they came from, but apparently our neighbor rounded up these guys in our next door neighbor’s backyard. The police came, the whole shebang. The weird thing is, I was home but never heard anything. (This tells you about the noise level in our home. I’m actually pretty disappointed that we missed it because I wish the kids could have seen them! They love to say “moo!” when they see cows!
And here’s a little glimpse into our day today: We met up with our friends, the Adams, for a little bouncy playdate. April found this AWESOME bouncy place, that is totally empty during the day- we had the whole place to ourselves for most of the time we were there. A few kids came later but there were so many play structures that we didn’t really cross paths with them at all. (It was 10,000 times better than Monkey Joe’s) The kids had a blast!
