Well, folks, it’s official.. I have 3 days left to raise the remainder of my 2,400.00 goal for Team In Training- I have just 88 more dollars to go! This fall I pledged to raise this money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which supports cancer research as well as assistance for families of cancer patients. With the help of research supported by the LLS, blood cancer survival rates have continued to rise of the last several decades, but there are still too many families suffering due to this devastating disease. Will you help me make a difference?
My great friend Olga is helping me out with my last ditch effort at meeting my goal by hosting a couple great giveaways on her blog right now- there are four prizes up for grabs, and the only requirement to enter, is a TWO dollar donation to my Team In Training fund. For each two dollars you donate, you will receive another entry for each prize, there is some jewelry, as well as a beautiful painting up for grabs. You can also earn extra entries by following her blog, etc, so please stop by Twinspirational Runner and check it out! You can also see my donation page by clicking the link in my right sidebar.
I have also pledged to run a half-marathon along with the fundraising.. ok, so it was supposed to be a marathon but, let’s just say that the appropriate training didn’t really happen for that. I may have bitten of a little more than I could chew with going back to work, the fundraising, training, and you know.. taking care of triplet toddlers. Even the half marathon might include some walking no my part, but I will complete it because I said I would- and shoot for a marathon maybe towards the end of next year.
Here is just one of the necklaces you can win:
And here is the beautiful handpainted art piece by LMN Art Studios that you could win!
You could also win a brand new Freshwater Pearl Kids’ matching set from Pearl Paradise.com!
Thanks for your support!
(If you are hoping for a triplet update… well, I have some unsettling news. One of my children is really into trucks. Like, REALLY into trucks. And saying “Truck” about 75 times a day. Except his “Tr” sounds like an “F”. It’s lovely. If this doesn’t stop soon we will not be going out in public for a while.)
