This summer is turning out to be quite tricky- work has slowed down considerably for me, so I have more days off. Which is great, because I get to spend more time with my kids. We’ve done more playdates, gotten to the library (finally!), gone swimming more- I love it all. On the flip side, me working less means less money coming in- a lot less. Which means that everything we do needs to be cheap, if not free. It’s a tricky situation and I find myself having to get creative, but also super frustrated because I just can’t take the kids to do whatever I want to do, I have to be frugal.
And then, there’s the heat. Can I just say how annoying it is to be in a full sweat before I even have all three kids buckled in to their carseats to go somewhere? Just try pushing a triple stroller, or pulling a wagon with three 2 yearolds around in 95 degree/100% humidity. Yuck. I guess, this is the price we pay for not having to deal with the snow.. but sometimes, I’m not sure it’s worth it! I just can’t wait for November:)
The kids at their playdate today with the Adams boys.. they had so much fun!
